I first played this game with a group of girls at church & it was loads of fun. Each player starts with the same number of candies {something wrapped (like Hershey's Kisses) works best}. Next, going in a circle, each player shares a true statement about herself starting with "Never have I ever..." After every statement, any girl(s) that have done the thing the player has never done gives that player one of her candies. The winner can be decided after so many rounds or after someone loses all of her candy, but either way the winner is the one with the most sweets left. It's a great party game!
So, pretend you have 5 pieces of candy before you & see how many you could hold onto if this was the real deal...
1. Never have I ever been to prom.
2. Never have I ever played Candy Crush.
3. Never have I ever been bowling.
4. Never have I ever eaten seafood.
5. Never have I ever cooked anything on the stove-top.
What have you never done?
Hello! I'm visiting from the Circle Link-up. I would only have one candy left if we were playing! I've never played Candy Crush either - I just don't get those types of games. I'd much rather be reading, or doing something productive with my time.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I'd rather be reading! Have you ever seen that silly commercial where the grandma-looking lady is smashing candy with a hammer like she's playing the game {I love that one} - I'd rather be doing that than actually playing the real game.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!

I'm wondering how you can not have ever cooked anything on the stove top. What do you usually use to cook?
ReplyDeleteI've never been to prom either! So many people said that one. I'm glad I'm not alone :)
Yes, I know tis sad, but true. I have never turned on my range. Cooking to me used to be using the toaster well, though I have improved into cookies & once a pie-kinda thing that needed much more sugar than I put in. I use the microwave daily & occasionally the oven for frozen pizza or said cookies. It actually was more than a year in my apt. before I turned on the oven. Maybe this year {about 3 years since then} that I'll turn on the stove-top. Say a prayer! =)

I love that I've discovered all of these non-Prom bloggers out there! I felt like I was the only one as a high schooler, but now I realize there are a lot of us out there--who have to stick together, too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
