DIY Coasters

This is the story of a thrifted purse...


That met with a tall shiny stranger {ahem, Mr. Scissors}.


Two things happened with this chance meeting {Or was it fate?}.  Here's the first thing...


I made coasters!


All I did was embellish the emancipated squares using my handy dandy Sharpie.  I think they liked it {well at least I did}.


You can make your own by cutting squares out of pleather {or whatever} material.  However, if you use any cotton-y {or any other non-plastic-y fabric}, I'd recommend using fabric markers.

Wonder what else happened with these squares?  To follow the adventure stay tuned!
