It's almost Christmas Eve eve! Tonight I finished up this little project I wanted to share. Here's how to make your own simple Christmas art...
Here's what usually hangs above my fireplace. Cute, but not Christmas-y. Let's make it fit for the season, shall we?
Here's What You Do...
1. Wrap non-Christmas-y art in brown paper {or other paper, if you like}. This is easiest with canvas art, but can be done with framed art, too.
2. Use chalk to make it Christmas-y!
3. Hang back up & enjoy!
4. Er, I Mean: Homemade Christmas Love,
-Bess-
P.S.: Merry {Christ}mas Eve eve, almost!
Aw, that's so cute! I'd love to hear more about YOU on your blog, Bess, if you'd be comfortable with that. How's your job, etc.? I hope you have a great Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteI know I say this about every time I comment, but you are so clever and crafty Bess! I'm a big fan of canvas art. I saw this thing on Pinterest where you can use modgepodge to attach a picture to a canvas. I'm going to give it a try today and hopefully give it to my family for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
