Frankly Friday

I recently stumbled upon "Taking Steps Home," a charming blog by the lovely Amy!  She's got a weekly link-up she calls, "Frankly Friday" where she gets honest about stuff in her life {you know: the good, the bad, the ugly}, & invites her readers to do the same.  So, here goes - a few random truths from this past week!

Frankly...

1. I need to do the dishes...  I'm getting tired of eating cereal out of mugs with serving spoons {+ it isn't easy to do}!

2.
This back to school season has me somewhat down, because I currently don't have the job I went to college for, & this time of year just seems to put that in the forefront of my mind.  God is still good; I just wish I felt at peace with what I'm supposed to be doing right now {oh, & I wish I knew what that was}.  I've been praying like crazy for what feels like a very long while...  Dear Father, I don't know where to go from here...

3. My next door {apt.} neighbor recently moved & I'm praying that I'll get a fabulous new one!  It's a little nerve racking, but I'm going to leave it in God's hands.

Frankly, I'm thankful it's Friday!

  1. I enjoyed your Frankly Friday! It was my first time doing it and it was refreshing!

I also had a season of not knowing where God wanted me after graduating. It is a scary time, but there is purpose in waiting and the unknown. He is at work in the seemingly silent times

  2. + Girl, mugs + serving spoons for cereal, that is sometimes the best. I love eating stuff out of cups haha. BUT i understand what you mean about doing dishes - there are currently a pile of dishes calling my name that i'm ignoring. :)

+ We're in the same boat. I'm not working in the field i went to school for, i have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing with my life, but i'm happy to have a job and i realize the blessing of a paycheck (like you do :) )
Praying for you as well, for direction.

+ Heres to hoping that you get a f.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c. new neighbor!

    Thanks for the shout-out! :) You're awesome
