Fess Parker 1924-2010
I know you all may be thinking this is craziness, but I love Fess Parker. Most of you probably are still in the dark. Have you ever seen those old “Daniel Boone” reruns or the Disney “Davy Crockett” films or the dad on Disney’s “Old Yeller”? Well, that was Fess Parker. Just this year I started watching those old “Daniel Boone” tv shows, & I just really liked them…loved them. I didn’t know who Fess Parker was before that. I was just as surprised as you probably are! It doesn’t really sound like something I’d like, but I really do love em’! So, I’m sad to see old Fess go…boy did I like him!

Hi, Bess! I went to the Fess Parker's Double Tree Inn in Santa Barabra for my sister's wedding. Such a charming hotel. It is right across from the ocean too!

I don't!! My family and I have enjoyed Fess Parker in Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, and all of the old Disney movies he was in. We are big fans of his. I'm so sad to hear that he has died. :(
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I used to reenact Davy Crockett and his side kick Georgie Russell. Guess who I was? You got it.... Georgie Russell. I was the one getting captured by Indians and having to be saved LOL. I love the few movies that I've seen him in.
